OnlineHost: We are now joined by Robbie Earle. Robbie the former Port Vale midfielder now Wimbledon, is one of the most proflific midfielders in the country. He has deservedly earned international recognition with Jamaica.
Question: Our first question is a general one being asked by loads of members:-) What has caught your eye at the exhibition?
Robbie Earle: The excitement of the children and seeing them enjoying football
Question: ChrisJHurl asks a question about referees: How do you think the new refereeing rules will affect the World Cup?
Robbie Earle: I think there will be a lot of players sent off , unfairly with the new rule being brought in about tackling from behind
Question: LeedUtd72 asks about Wimbledon and grounds: Do you enjoy playing at Selhurst Park? What do you think of the proposed move to Dublin?
Robbie Earle: No we don't enjoy playing at Selhurst. We feel like tenants at someone else's property. The players would enjoy Dublin for the Guinness <g>
Question: Wimbledon Football Club defy the odds every year, is it the spirit or is it shrewdness by Joe Kinnear and Sam Hammam?
Robbie Earle: A combination of the two- team spirit on the field and excellent management structure off the field
Question: And our final question is about the World Cup. What chance do you think Jamaica have in the tournament?
Robbie Earle: the coach is telling us we are going there to win it but will settle for runners up <g> I hope that everyone who comes to the show has a good time and everyone else enjoys their football. Wimbledon hopefully are a flagship for the smaller clubs and are proving what can be done on small resources
